It may come as no surprise that Scott’s entrepreneurial spirit came early. As a young boy, Scott mowed sixteen lawns each week throughout the Spring, Summer, and Fall where he learned the value of hard work – a lesson that has stuck with him to this day. When he is not coming up with big ideas at the office, Scott can be found spending time with his wife, Erin, and four children and mountain biking. For over 14 years, DeNeve has created opportunities for wealth for agents and their families. He has and continues to be a leader of change in the industry to increase the standard for real estate agents and all they serve. Platinum Realty has grown to nearly 2,000 agents with offices in six major markets across five states. The company has been recognized on the Inc. 500/5000 list of fastest-growing private companies in America 7 times. This growth and success are largely due to the DeNeve’s mission to create better lifestyle opportunities for agents. They earn more, have the support of a fantastic team, have greater freedom and flexibility, in addition to an active and caring community of like-minded agents. To continue in his mission to be a voice for agents and raise the bar in real estate from the inside out, DeNeve got involved in real estate associations. Currently, he serves on the Kansas City REALTORS® Association Board of Directors. He was recently appointed to the Board of Directors for the National Association of REALTORS® among the top seventy-five real estate firms in the country. In 2013, DeNeve was named one of the topmost powerful people in real estate by Swanepoel. He continues to improve his leadership skills as an active member of the Entrepreneur’s Organization, where he also serves as the Board of Director’s Communication Chair. Knowing the collective power of his growing community of agents and wanting to provide an outlet for agents to give back, DeNeve established the Platinum Realty Foundation in 2017. The Foundation oversees two programs resolute in giving back – Feeding Families and Agents for Agents. The Feeding Families program was established to provide food to families caring for critically ill children. Through the program, Platinum Realty is proud to have given hundreds of these families one less thing to worry about during their hospital stays. Along with our local community, Platinum Realty is passionate about serving our own growing community of agents in times of medical hardship. Through the program Agents for Agents, agents who are facing a critical illness, either they themselves or a family member, are awarded grants to help cover additional costs. Platinum Realty continues to grow in both agents and geographical footprint. As for what is next, one thing is certain – DeNeve’s quest to make a positive impact on the industry, real estate agents everywhere, and the community he loves, forges on with unwavering dedication.
