About Scott
Scott was raised in the Delaware Valley. For most of his childhood he lived in Yardley and had a typical suburban childhood. They lived in a large (at least he thought so...) house that was "brand-new" at the time, and everyone knew their neighbors! A house is more than bricks & mortar, a home is made of memories.
His Mother raised him and his brother on a teacher's salary and while times were tough for a single woman raising two children in the 60's & 70's, they had a wonderful childhood.
Leaving public education at high school, he attended The George School and his mother moved to a townhouse community in Newtown. Scott has found that the foundations of a Quaker education to be instrumental as an adult.
Scott then attended Boston University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in Management, with a focus in accounting. Leaving college and securing his first job as an "Accountant", he quickly realized that his calling was not behind a desk, but in front of a desk, selling. Within 1 year, he left that trade & began a 20+ year career in sales. His profession led him into large-scale, multinational corporate sales with American Express where he spent 10 years leading complex, global negotiations with their Fortune 50 clients. Working for an organization like American Express, he developed a strong understanding of "the power of the brand" when it comes to marketing, and the power of working for "the leader" in their field. Both of which has proven instrumental in his decision to work for BHHS Fox & Roach (#1 in their field), in his unique approach to "branding" his own personal business & "branding" his clients' properties.
After 20 years in the corporate world, he finally decided that it was time to stop traveling 50%+ of his time, and to seek a new career path where he could have a direct impact in the lives of his clients. Wanting to have a personal impact on his clients’ lives, he shifted careers, and has been a Realtor® for the past 17 years. His business and reputation have been built on a solid foundation of trust, integrity and creativity.
His personal passions are architecture, history and photography.
He lives in Rose Valley in a historic 1910 Arts & Crafts bungalow designed by the founder of the community, William Lightfoot Price.
