About Scott

Born and raised in central Pennsylvania, the Appalachian Mountains were my back yard, and that is exactly where I spent most of my time growing up. After high school and an enlistment in the US Navy, in 1993, I headed west to Colorado in search of bigger mountains and broader horizons. Immediately upon arriving in Colorado I gained employment in residential construction. Starting as a laborer, operating a broom and a shovel, I quickly climbed the ladder to become a skilled , self employed sub contracting carpenter. From there I learned the business end of residential construction, and partnered up with my brother, became a licensed General Contractor with an excellent reputation of building quality homes for many satisfied customers for well over a decade. Always wanting to add to my personal accomplishments and resume the next logical step was a career in Real Estate. After studying hard and scoring very high on my licensing exam, I began my next venture as an Associate Broker in Jan 2010, and have done well. Continuing to build and pursue a Real Estate career has been very fulfilling for me. My experience in residential construction has been one of my greatest assets as a broker. I know what to look for in a quality home as well as a fixer upper.
