Scott Talley

Scott Talley serves as the qualifying broker and owner of 5Market Realty. In this role, Scott manages the business of 5Market and oversees a team of experienced sales associates working primarily in the Athens area. A native of Valdosta, Georgia, Scott Talley moved to Athens in 1999. He enrolled at the University of Georgia where he studied communications and real estate. After graduating in 2004, Scott began his career in real estate here in Athens, GA.

Scott Talley has over 19 years experience in Athens area real estate where he primarily sells residential and investment properties throughout the greater Athens area. He is well versed in residential home sales, condos, and new construction. Additionally, Scott has an extensive background with investment properties. He works heavily with student housing properties and other areas of investment real estate. He is knowledgeable and experienced with cap rates, rate of return, and helping clients utilize the 1031 Tax Free Exchange to buy and sell investment properties. Therefore, Scott is able to help investors both large and small locate ideal investment properties in the area. Lastly, Scott is an experienced commercial broker. Scott and his wife, Maggie, currently live in the 5 points area with their four children Walker, Tullis, Giles, and their only daughter Mabel Rue Talley.
