Born and raised in the Bronx, Scottie Cabrera knows that there is no other place like New York City. As an OSHA-certified union carpenter for nearly a decade, he also knows New York and its complexities intimately. He has worked on landmark buildings including the Freedom Tower, the United Nations, and the Empire State Building, helping to build the city he loves.

Scottie graduated from SUNY Empire State College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a focus on entrepreneurship. He attributes much of his business savvy and negotiating skills to his mentors, which include self-made entrepreneurs and businessmen and women with whom he can be found strategizing new business ventures.

When he isn’t educating his clients about the real estate market, Scottie spends his time volunteering and giving back to the community. As an advocate for autism awareness, Scottie participates in fundraisers for the annual Autism Speaks Walk. He also volunteers his time at NYC food banks and soup kitchens and is a music production instructor at his former high school, Alfred E. Smith in the Bronx.
