Sean Aiken

Sean first came to the Gorge in 1986 to pursue his love of windsurfing, which eventually led to a professional career. From 1990-2002, Sean spent his winters on Maui and summers in the Gorge where he trained and competed among the best windsurfers in the world. He has enjoyed many victories, including the 2000 Gorge Games and the 1999 National Wave Sailing Championships.

In 2002, Sean returned to the Columbia River Gorge full time to pursue another longtime interest: real estate. Long before the national media publicized the beauty and exceptional lifestyle of the Gorge, Sean recognized it as an incredibly special place to live surrounded by all the outdoor activities that he loves. He began buying investment properties in 1995 and has kept his eye trained on the real estate market ever since. He is licensed in Oregon and Washington.

Sean inherited his instincts and expertise in real estate from his grandfather, who owned and operated successful real estate offices in the Pacific Northwest. He is excited to share his love and expertise of this unique region with you. His friendly, positive approach, steadfast dedication and experience in Gorge real estate make him an exceptional resource.

When Sean is not in the office or out in the field looking at properties, you can find him with his wife and two kids mountain biking up at Post Canyon, snowboarding on Mt. Hood, exploring Mt. Adams in his vintage snow cat, or touring the national parks in an old VW bus. And when the wind blows, he is still out on the water catching waves and throwing loops.
