About Sean
Sean O’Conor is an entrepreneur, a mindful leader, and a real estate veteran with over three decades of local industry experience. As Broker of Record and Principal of O’Conor, Mooney & Fitzgerald, Sean leads and inspires a team of over 70 agents to create successful real estate deals and longstanding, genuine relationships with clients, vendors, and partners alike.
Sean began his career selling residential real estate, lots, land, and commercial properties. Covering it all since 1986, Sean navigated the market prosperously, established an impeccable reputation, and then took the helm of O’Conor, Mooney & Fitzgerald with his partners in 2002. Family owned and family run, the company has built its reputation on personal service and believes that local ownership and a nurturing environment are what attracts agents to the firm. The agency is made up of mother-daughter, husband-wife, and sibling teams, four agents who have been with the company since 2002, and dozens who have surpassed 10 years of service with firm.
A force in the industry, O’Conor, Mooney & Fitzgerald isn’t stopping any time soon. With a hands-on approach and the ability to envision the future of real estate, eventual plans could include further expansion, the acquiring of more companies, as well as additional office locations. By 2028, O’Conor, Mooney & Fitzgerald will honor its hundredth anniversary in business, the only real estate agency to celebrate a centennial in the state of Maryland.
Along with O’Conor generations past, Sean was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland and his family has deep, historical roots in the state famous for steamed crabs and Old Bay. Having been a Marylander all his life, Sean is influenced by community, and has found many ways to contribute to the organizations that make Baltimore such a great place to live and work. He is a member of the Stella Maris Board of Trustees, Signal 13 Board of Directors, and a member emeritus of the Arc of Baltimore and has chaired numerous fundraising events for each association.
Sean resides in Phoenix, Maryland with his wife, Stacy, who manages the Lutherville Office. They have three grown sons, two grandsons, and a granddaughter who all reside in the Baltimore area. Sean and Stacy wear their grandparent status with pride and look forward to the blessings of more grandchildren in the future.
