Seta Tunell

Working for years with top level executives and on-air talent in network news, Seta Tunell brings to her real estate career a strong sense of priority, discipline, patience and tenacity. These qualities are an advantage to both buyers and sellers in the often-stressful world of real estate transactions.


Born in Cairo, Egypt of Armenian parents, her family moved to Beirut, Lebanon when she was 2 years old and then immigrated to the United States. Being born overseas and having friends and family scattered globally sparked her curiosities. Seta considers herself lucky to have recognized and created opportunities to travel, live and explore other lifestyles, cultures, points of view, and, yes, the food of faraway places. It was an incredible and valuable education that shaped her sensibilities.


Her diverse background and experience as an entrepreneur, business owner, and project manager for numerous ventures, including international work in sales, real estate development and building, are valuable assets that will guide you through the real estate process.


Previous to Real Estate, Seta worked for 20 years at NBC in various positions, most recently as Coordinating Producer for the award-winning News Magazine, Dateline NBC. Seta began her career at Renault, the French car company, working in both its New York and Paris headquarters. She then got involved in the import/export world, working with U.S. and European clientele. In her next venture, Seta set sail for Anguilla in the West Indies, where she oversaw the coordination and establishment of a multinational startup venture.

Now as a real estate professional, Seta’s experiences and background, coupled with her in-depth knowledge of the local market area, a keen eye for design, and her ability to recognize potential and value, gives her clients the advantage of working with a proven and focused professional, who utilizes her skills to effectively navigate and market in the purchase or sale of their home.

Seta was past Vice President of the PTA Council in South Orangetown. As a result of her studies in nutrition, she was a member of their Nutritional Subcommittee as well as on the Board of Directors of the Children’s Shakespeare Theatre.


Seta is proud to have earned the Ecobroker®, Short Sale Specialist® and Accredited Buyer’s Representative® designations. She is fluent in English and Armenian.
