Born in Birmingham, Alabama, Shagarri thinks of himself as a southern gentleman, raised to always treat people as he would like to be treated. He is very patient, polite, and accommodating, yet aggressive when needed, particularly when it comes to finding his client a home and getting the best deal possible. Shagarri has a long history of excelling at the fine art of service and delivering the finest customer experiences. His hard work ethic has been proven and strengthened throughout his career, now epitomized in real estate.
While attending The University of South Alabama in Mobile, with marketing as his major and finance as a minor, he marketed and sold high-quality kitchen cutlery, and kicked off tremendous success. Shagarri sold a tremendous amount of product his first nine months, off of referrals alone! He then went on to perfect his professionalism in the world of finance at three major banks: PNC, Regions, and Wells Fargo. Preceding his entrée into real estate, Shagarri again demonstrated his high-quality above-and-beyond service as a special assignment flight attendant catering to celebrities and other well-known passengers. He has traveled all over the world and has been privileged to meet and work with people from many countries.
Before joining Corcoran, Shagarri worked on two award-winning teams at Compass. His teams were consistently in the top 1% of the company, and he has been involved in over $20 million dollars in transactions.
Shagarri decided to join Corcoran as an individual agent and knew that Corcoran would continue to elevate him. Shagarri has a keen interest in working with people. He specializes in sales and rentals in Manhattan and the surrounding areas. He lives in the vibrant Harlem area.
