When it came time to sell our home, we were fortunate enough to receive a referral for Shane and his team. With our very first phone call, we knew Shane was a person of the highest integrity, skill, knowledge and experience.  We were considering renovating our property, as it needed quite a bit of updating.  Shane and his wife Lisa, who brings extensive design/marketing experience, gave us several options with the corresponding anticipated outcomes for the eventual sale.  After looking at their prior sales of renovated homes, we decided to turn over complete creative control to this amazing duo. By managing the entire design process, they truly simplified our lives during what could have been an extremely stressful period.  Shane’s constant communication, ability to provide solutions where necessary and access to so many reliable and trustworthy resources made all the difference in the world.  There was no question that Shane genuinely wanted our experience to be a good one, and we so enjoyed our many calls with Shane and his team.  Our home was transformed, in very short order, into a dream home – absolutely the most unique and desirable property, as evidenced by the sale breaking a record to become the most expensive 2500sf, of similar lot size, Quadrant home ever sold in Dupont!!  While this was a tribute to the superb design renovation, it was also due to Shane’s market knowledge and outstanding negotiation skills.  The marketing materials and video production were incomparable and showcased our home so beautifully.  The entire team’s attention to detail and their desire to make the process seamless was so appreciated.  From the very first phone call to receiving a transaction binder with everything included in one place, they absolutely went above and beyond in every aspect.  Shane and his team are truly the best!!!!

I have worked with Shane and Team Klinkhammer on three real estate transactions. After many years in Lakewood, we unexpectedly needed to relocate to Texas. In fall 2020, during the pandemic, Shane listed and sold my single-family home and a condo rental property, both in Lakewood. Within a week the family home had multiple competing offers. Shane helped us navigate, negotiate, and close that sale quickly. He also assisted with coordinating the repair of several deficiencies from the home inspection. We discussed the possibility of remodel at the condo to increase value, and Shane was willing to manage that on our behalf. He helped estimating remodel costs, increased property values, repair schedule, and market. Ultimately, we decided against the remodel and Shane already had an interested buyer as a backup. set up. We had to relocate shortly before the properties could be listed. Therefore, the sales concluded by remote closing, a new process for us. Shane kept the whole process on track for both properties, dealing with the relator, escrow, title company, and getting repairs accomplished since we were in Texas.

In the fall of 2024, we purchased a summer property in our old Lakewood neighborhood. Based on our positive experience with Shane, and Team Klinkhammer (kudos to Lisa and their daughter), there was no question who we would choose as our realtor. From Texas we researched some properties via Zillo, Redfin, and the internet. I contacted Shane, informed him of our intent, and gave him three properties located in the same gated community. Immediately, he informed us of another property in the same community that was not visible to us on the internet and sent the listing. This property was by far the best in price, lot location, $/sqft, age, condition, and recent remodel. Once again Shane helped us navigate the entire sales and closing process remotely.

I could go on and on everything he assisted with. From little things, like putting on window screens, to major issues like accomplishing repairs and the sales/closing process. He is available, responsive, a negotiator, protects his client, honest and truthful, an expert real estate professional, and a man of the highest integrity, ethics, and character.

We met Shane at an open house when searching for our last home over four years ago. Randomly we would run into him here and there. From the moment we met him, we immediately loved him and saw an amazing, hard working, and sincere real estate agent. At that time we were already in contract with another agent and vowed we would look him up for our next home sale/buy needs. I hesitate to list every thing, in every way, Shane and his team were instrumental in the amazing experience we had in selling our late parents’ property in Washington. It could create an unfortunate precedent in potential clients of his expecting him to do it all for everyone.

Simply put, we were an exception — not the rule — in what a realtor and his team are capable of doing. This being my first experience dealing with anything related to selling a home, let alone managing my father’s estate and affairs, Shane and his team brought not only the highest level of professionalism in helping with all of the property’s unique problems, helping me understand the best way to solve this and that — all things you hope to get from any realtor. From the very first encounter with Mr. Hammer, my wife and I were convinced he and his team were the right choice to represent our home selling needs. Team Hammer goes above and beyond advertisement. Anything that we needed in terms of addressing home repairs they assisted with. Mr. Hammer provides a list of well qualified professionals to help with things like; carpet and window cleaning. Moss removal from the roof, tile and grout repair and lawn reseeding. Mr. Hammer even came over to assess a situation in a very tight craw space underneath our home. He was pretty well dressed and went underneath the house as if he was wearing overalls. That’s the kind of service you can expect to receive from Mr. Hammer and his team. Not to mention the advertisement and photos of our home were amazing. Mr. Hammer was able to sell our home in a week, which is impressive in today’s economy. Thanks Shane and Lisa for everything!! 😃

My husband and I are both active duty military and have very crazy schedules; no matter what time it was Shane would always answer our calls and texts and give us his full attention. We had the privilege of working with the Shane and Lisa Klinkhammer from Hammer Real Estate for the sale of our Lacey home. Our home had been a rental property for 14 years and we were aware that wear and tear had taken its toll on our property before we reached out to them for help. The Hammer Real Estate team spent the extra time required to advise us on the most critical repairs/updates and guided us through the process of getting the home on the market – even advising to ensure our selections for the home would appeal to buyers. They worked hard to get our home in top condition and it was listed in January of 2023. Their results speak for themselves– the home went pending in 2 days with an offer over asking price before the first open house even occurred.
We reached out to Shane and Lisa initially because they came HIGHLY recommended by our friend and could not be happier with that recommendation. Since we are a military family (over 25+ years) and have moved several times, we have purchased and sold numerous homes and this was our BEST experience by far. We have known Shane and Lisa Klinkhammer since 2019. We were relocating from LA and looking for a home with mountain views. While driving a Gig Harbor neighborhood we ran across a listing by Shane and he saw us scoping out the home and came out to help us. We took an immediate liking to him because we could see his transparency and integrity coming out and it was important for us to have a strong realtor in our corner, plus he has a great sense of humor. Team Klinkhammer came through for us in a big way and helped us find a beautiful home with 180 degree views of the Cascades and Mt. Rainier. They pay great attention to what you want and provide a wealth of relevant information and data that helps in locating that perfect home. They are extremely knowledgeable of the Tacoma-Olympia area and are very patient at every step of the process. While visiting homes, Shane would point out little details that normally escape a buyer so you could gauge problems or issues.
So when it came to selling our home and relocating we had no hesitation turning to Team Klinkhammer to list it. The entire process was orchestrated like a symphony and we saw the efficiency with which they worked. Shane worked with us on the pricing so that it was just right and a win-win for seller and buyer and Lisa, who is an accomplished interior designer and decorator, did the perfect staging. They have a videographer who made the home look like one out of BH&G. It took only seven days from the day it was listed to get offers and then a few more days to successfully negotiate a price that was well above list price.
Over the years we have come to know Lisa and Shane very well. They have become a part of our family and we believe they are one of the best real estate teams in the PNW. We have no hesitation in recommending them whether you want to buy or sell your home.

We would highly recommend Shane and his team as they were fantastic and very knowledgeable to work with.

We were first time homebuyers and were trying to buy a home during COVID while in a seller's market. Shane was always responsive and professional when showing us potential houses. Shane recently helped my wife and I purchase our very first home in the ultra competitive Tacoma market. We knew we could trust Shane ever since meeting him over 3 years ago. At the time, we were touring a home that he was selling as a proxy for my folks who were looking to retire in the area. Fast forward a short while and Shane helped them to purchase their dream retirement property in gig harbor.

In late 2020, we reached out to Shane as we began to contemplate moving from Seattle and beginning our own home search in Tacoma. As first time home buyers we had tons of questions. Shane was patient and knowledgeable as he answered every inquiry we had over a few initial zoom sessions and emails. He was even able to recommend a handful of lenders that he had worked with which made the daunting processing of shopping around for mortgage rates much easier.

With Shane’s professionalism and the trust we quickly gained in him as our agent, we had the confidence to purchase a home in Gig Harbor based on an hour FaceTime tour he did for us of the property.

Our client relationship started two years prior when we sent our son to an open house that Shane happened to be hosting. It was too early in our search as we were wishing to retire in the area within a few years from out of state. Shane took the time to not only discuss the property with our son but answer all the questions we asked him to pose. That was the start to a relationship that showed just how patient and thorough he is in tracking down just the right home based on our criteria.

Once we found THE HOME, wIth this market being crazy with multiple offers (the home we bought had at least 6 offers, 3 of which were for 3% above asking price), he provided the FaceTime walk-through (we couldn’t get a flight quick enough), the offer written up, talked us through all the options, and submitted the offer within about 2 days. I am not a customer of Shane/Lisa's but I've been their go-to photographer for the past 2 years... And in this timespan, I've had an opportunity to see how they treat their clients. It's unlike any other agent I've worked with. Most agents will post their cell phone pics on the MLS and call it good.

Shane and Lisa call in multiple professionals and work as a team. Every house I've shot for them has had some sort of fixture replaced, a deep cleaning, something painted (if not the whole house), concrete cleaned, windows washed, modern house numbers added, plants/sod/potting soil added. Once all that is done, they'll bring in the stager and photographer. Then they'll market the house on multiple social media channels and have a custom URL website for the property. I know I'm missing something because the extent they go to is overwhelming. I don't know how they do it and still have time to sleep.

If I was going to intrust ANYONE to sell my house - it would be without a doubt, Shane and Lisa Klinkhammer. They make the world a better place and deserve so, so much more.

I have been trying to pre-qualify for a home purchase for 4 years to no avail. Shane first encouraged that there was hope and he began to explain how home buying was possible even in light of my personal circumstances. Having referred me to the most aggressive and caring lending team, Shane created for me a Dream Team. Waiting on certain life-changing events, we planned to dig our heels in and to begin our search around the beginning of 2019, but life dealt me with a hard blow and I was forced to vacate the rental I was occupying in the summer of 2018. Shane was our realtor in the spring of 2018, and I cannot tell you enough how amazing he was.

Throughout the entire process, he was professional, knowledgeable, personable, and caring.

First off, Shane is exceptionally knowledgeable about the housing marketing. Shane is educated about the city and demographics (Gig Harbor). Even more so, he took the time to learn about the neighborhood itself so he could fully understand the property value and what it could offer to potential buyers.

Secondly, Shane listened to us. He listened to our reasons for selling the house, the reservations we had, and our financial goals. He clearly understood and worked with us to come up with a strategy that would work for our whole family. Looking back, we asked for more than most people would with a short sell period. I would say we were headache clients. However, he worked around the clock and did everything in his power to accomplish our goals. In the end, it was a slam dunk.

Thirdly, Shane has exceptional communication skills. He used phone, email, and most importantly in-person visits to go over timelines, agendas, questions, and paperwork. He was on top of it the whole time. We always felt up to date.

Fourth, Shane’s marketing skills are top notch. When he listed the house, Shane posted the listing on all of the major MLS and social media sites; he grabbed the attention of so many buyers. The photographer he uses captured amazing pictures for the marketing flyers, which Shane printed on very nice thick paper to elevate the sale of the home even more. He also did a breathtaking video catching a lovely walk through of the house. The footage allowed buyers from out of town to get an experience of walking through the home and yard.

Lastly, Shane will fight for you to get you the most money for your home. He has tremendous negotiation skills and exceeded our financial goal. We are thrilled with the offer we accepted and the short close date he got us. 

Above all, Shane is a star realtor and above all a wonderful person. He cares about his clients, and we feel truly blessed to have met him.
