Our roots in Grand Highlands run especially deep. Both Shannon and Cody worked directly for the community’s developer from its earliest vision through to the final developer home sale. That firsthand experience gives us an authentic understanding of the community’s evolution — from raw land to one of Western North Carolina’s most beloved luxury mountain neighborhoods.

Beyond Grand Highlands, Shannon’s background includes over 15 years of direct developer experience, working with new and restructured planned communities throughout the region. Her developer sales work with renowned mountain destinations such as Balsam Mountain Preserve, Southcliff, and French Broad Crossing / Little Pine has given her a unique depth of knowledge in community design, lifestyle positioning, and the nuances that define successful mountain developments.

Cody’s expertise runs deep in land assessment, topography evaluation, and site potential — a critical skill set in the mountains. His experience allows clients to understand how slope, orientation, and natural features influence both buildability and long-term enjoyment. From identifying optimal home siting options to helping clients visualize how a home can live on the land, Cody’s insight provides an invaluable foundation for smart, informed decisions.
