Shannon Kutchek

Shannon has been proudly affiliated with the Smothers Group since the inception of her real estate career, and she continues to rank as one of the La Grange area's top brokers every year. A 25+ year resident of La Grange, Shannon has worked to develop an extensive knowledge of the community, schools, programs and services around the neighborhood, and she is considered an area expert by many of her clients, friends and colleagues.

Shannon has always had a love for historic homes and home remodeling. She has renovated or restored five vintage homes in the La Grange area, and is always looking ahead to her next project. Shannon has cultivated many on-going relationships with builders and developers through these projects, and she now happily can call many of them her clients as well.

Shannon enjoys working with clients of all experience levels, some who are purchasing their very first home and some who are seasoned homeowners looking to downsize. She also serves as an independent consultant to older adults and their families, assisting in determining their best-fit housing and identifying solutions for maximizing safety and independence in their homes. In fact, Shannon has also been a Licensed Occupational Therapist for over 28 years. and she has attained an Executive Certification in Accessible Home Modifications from USC. Shannon is a certified Senior Residential Specialist (SRES), as well as a board member of Aging Care Connections where she is honored to be a member of their Lee Burkey Society. Using her knowledge of safe senior living options, she strives to help educate her clients to make the best decisions for their lifestyle.
