Most people would describe Shannon as enthusiastic, which is exactly how she feels about real estate. She loves talking about it and helping clients either sell and/or find the right home.
And her stats show it: She has represented over one hundred transactions valued at over $60M. Since 2018, she has been consistently ranked among the top 10% of agents in the Inner East Bay and her listings have sold an average of 13% over list price in an average of 24 days on market.*
Shannon is a Bay Area native. She grew up on the Peninsula and lived in San Francisco for 5 years before moving to Berkeley in 2002. She loves the culture and diversity that the East Bay brings - who wouldn’t love their fantastic restaurants, outdoor recreational spaces and fantastic weather?!
Before her career in real estate, Shannon worked for 10 years as a paralegal at a construction litigation law firm in San Francisco. She has also owned her own business and managed family-owned property remodels and sales. She is a believer in addressing issues as they come up and to take corrective action as soon as possible. She is excellent at keeping clients up to date on the transaction and she always tell her clients the hard news, even if they do not want to hear it. She strives to be as upfront and available as needed during the escrow process.
Shannon knows personally what it is like to wait by the phone to hear if your offer has been accepted and she does not lose sight that it is the client who is either buying or selling, not her. She works hard to alleviate client stress whenever possible and try to make each step of the process as transparent as possible.
Shannon enjoys spending time with my family, knitting, bicycling, hiking, and volunteering to support her son’s school as a member of the Stewardship Committee.
She graduated from the University of Georgia with a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and was awarded a Fulbright Hayes for intensive Swahili study in Tanzania and Zanzibar.
Shannon is a member of the National, California and Berkeley Association of Realtors.
