Shannon Ryan did not move to Nashville because of the music industry. Unlike most transplants, she was not, nor is she now, involved in the music industry; however, her love of old country music and the appeal of a big city, so different from the one stop light town in rural North Florida where she grew up, offered her a place to spread her wings in 1997. She graduated Cum Laude from Florida State University with a business communications degree and headed out to the ‘big city”. So much has changed since then. Not only has the city boomed beyond imagination, but so, too, has her life. She married, what now is as rare as a unicorn, a Tennessee native born and raised in Franklin, Tennessee. They are the proud parents of a sweet seven-year-old boy, who is their world.
