Sharon Brown is a real professional. She is knowledgeable, diligent and effective. It was a pleasure to work with her from the beginning to end on the sale of our property.

Sharon’s approach to marketing is truly remarkable. She used drone footage and a professional photographer and a film to create the image and then created a unique website for our property in which she gives a virtual tour of the house and grounds.

She was always available for consultations and gave excellent guidance.

She handled the closing flawlessly dealing with the usual back and forth associated with such transactions, and even post closing she continued to follow up.

We would recommend her to anyone. By the way, we think her qualifications as a trained architect are a valuable resource in her professional approach to real estate sales.

Our family started working with Sharon in the Spring of 2023. Sharon has a wealth of experience not only in terms of the real estate market, but also in her knowledge of buying land and building homes. She helped us navigate the many options in finding the perfect future home for our family. We ended up building a home with a builder in Loudoun County - and we could not imagine going through the process without Sharon. Summary. Sharon Brown served as our real estate agent twice in the past three months, as buyer's agent and seller’s agent. Hire her! We’ve provided some reasons below why you want Sharon to represent you.

Expertise. Sharon has a master’s degree in architecture from Virginia Tech. She saw and understood things which would have escaped most, certainly us. Sharon’s knowledge of the local market was deep, including nuances of the neighborhood, local developments, and market trends.

Technical Knowledge: Sharon is a meticulous individual who pays attention to paperwork, legalities, and contractual terms. Her thoroughness was a key factor in our successes in buying and selling. Sharon understands building materials, construction techniques, and structural integrity. This proved very useful in identifying potential issues, in assessing the quality of construction, and most importantly, in evaluating the true value of a property factoring in costs associated with remediation and improvement.

Design Perspective: Sharon understood design aesthetics, spatial layouts, and functionality. She sees things that we might overlook.

Sharon helped me sell my property in a very efficient and professional manner. It took about a month, starting with putting the property up for sale to closing the deal, and the buyer was found in two weeks! Almost every day there were visits from potential buyers, despite the fact that it was raining. As a result, the price for which Sharon managed to sell my property turned out to be higher than what was requested by me.
This was the second deal that Sharon did for us and it went perfectly both times. Sharon has good intuition and is very knowledgeable about the real estate market.

I am very fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with Sharon Brown to sell my mother's house. Her extraordinary skills, experience, and knowledge became evident as she executed her plan to sell mom's complex property.

At our first meeting Sharon outlined several ways potential buyers could use the two parcel, split zoned, 100 years old farm house property. As she gathered property details to develop her plan, she discovered mistakes made in the county and city property records for the two parcels. Sharon contacted city and county officials several times and got the records corrected. Her actions substantially increased the value of mom's property.

Sharon's plan to sell mom's property was extremely successful. It included a website, videos, pictures, floor plans and an open house. Within three days, at least 50 people came in to see mom's house. Multiple escalating offers were presented. Sharon's real estate knowledge and marketing expertise combined with her interpersonal skills resulted in selling mom's property for 16.6 % above the list price. I am, of course, overjoyed with this outcome.

My mother fell ill during the course of selling her property and I could not be available to do my part to help with the house sale. Sharon understood what I was dealing with and she handled all of the issues that came up during this difficult time. Sharon promptly returned my phone calls and text messages and she worked diligently to see the complicated property sale through to its conclusion.

I strongly recommend that you contact Sharon and seek her help for real estate transactions. I will certainly contact Sharon when I am ready to sell my current home. It is truly a pleasure to work with someone who is so proficient and effective in her profession.
