Sharon Wild

Sharon Wild is originally from Texas, growing up in Lubbock, Texas and moving to Ouray from New Braunfels, Texas. Sharon spent a big part of her childhood visiting Colorado and has always had a deep love of the mountains. She and her husband, Don, stumbled upon Ouray in 2002 while riding through Colorado on a motorcycle. Sharon stated at that time that it was the most beautiful place on earth – and she still feels that today!

Sharon and Don decided to purchase a home in Ouray in 2016 and established it as a vacation rental property. They then moved to Ouray permanently in 2017, making a lifelong dream of living in the mountains come true.

Although Sharon is a new realtor, her former professions serve her well in her new career. She is a former schoolteacher, school principal and most recently was an Executive Director for a large Senior Retirement Community. Sharon enjoys working with people and has assisted many Ouray property owners with their vacation rental properties. She prides herself on being goal oriented, with excellent organizational and communicational skills. Her high level of integrity and loyal and honest approach are things people mention most about her.

Sharon and her husband have four adult children who all reside in Texas, but come to visit Ouray as often as they can. Sharon’s hobbies include hiking, jeeping, camping, skiing, and snowshoeing. She can most often be seen walking her beloved dog, Miss Sneffels (named after Mount Sneffels, which Sharon has climbed), on the gorgeous Uncompahgre River Trail in Ouray. She feels very fortunate and grateful that she gets to enjoy so many of her favorite outdoor activities in such a beautiful area of Colorado.
