About Shawn

Back in 2007, Shawn took a road trip with his wife and dog to a camp spot just outside of Salida. He fell in love with Salida on his first visit and knew that he needed to figure out how to move here. He understands why people want to live in Salida, vacation, and spend time outdoors in this special place. Shawn is a real estate professional because he wants people to fulfill that same dream in the Salida area.

Moving from Summit County, CO to Salida was easy. The change allowed him to get engrained into the community and involved in local groups and activities. In addition to being a full-time realtor for First Colorado Shawn helps entrepreneurs in Chaffee County through the Small Business Development Center (SBDC). His background before real estate was owning successful businesses on the front range. Shawn thoroughly enjoys working with entrepreneurs to help them succeed in their business endeavors.

His Agricultural Business degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, CA has helped Shawn to work closely with local ranch and landowners. He grew up on a small family farm and his appreciation for rural communities and landscapes is ingrained.

His wife and Shawn enjoy anything outdoors, skiing and snowshoeing in the winter, summer on bikes, trail running, boating on the Arkansas, camping, and hiking in the surrounding wilderness.
