About Shawn

Before I became a realtor, I spent most of my life in Eureka, Missouri. Shortly after graduating from Eureka High School, I began my career within the travel industry. I acquired my education in the St. Louis area through St. Louis Community College, East Central College and the University of Missouri. Growing up with parents that taught myself and 8 siblings the importance of working hard and treating others with respect, I earned a promotion that moved me into management and allowed me to keep my roots in the St. Louis area. This opportunity also allowed me to travel to many branch offices and manage operations in Missouri, Kansas, and Oklahoma. While working in the travel industry, I met my loving wife of twenty-nine years. I then went on to start three businesses that served the St. Louis area as well as nineteen other states. I have lived within the St. Louis community for the last fifty- seven years, twenty-seven of those being a resident of Eureka, first as a young adult and then returning home to settle and raise my family. When returning to my hometown, I had the opportunity to redo and add on to the house where I grew up as a child. My wife and I have raised two boys, Evan and Andrew along with three girls, Kaela, Grace, and Natalie in that very same house. On November 18th of 2010, My oldest daughter, Kaela Marie Archambault, lost her life in a head on collision with a school bus. Since then I have kept a promise I made to my daughter and to all who know me to improve dangerous roads in hopes of saving many lives while spreading awareness. I am the founder and visionary behind the KMA Foundation, which stands for Keeping Memories Alive and is named in tribute to my daughter, Kaela Marie Archambault.
I am also the founder of One Curve at A Time, which received the highest state safety award in 2014, “Arrive Alive.” This award was given to our grass roots advocacy organization dedicated to promoting awareness of dangerous curves and roads in the region, increasing law enforcement of speed limits, and improving road safety. My passion and dedication galvanized an entire community that led the state to recognize a needed $1.8 million road improvement project along Hwy FF. I and KMA’s story have now evolved into improving dangerous curves, highway shoulders, and safer roads throughout the region. In 2014, I received a reward “the citizen of the year in the city of Eureka”. I dedicated this citizen award of the year to honor my oldest daughter.
As a father of five children with four here on earth and one in heaven, I believe it is my mission to ensure safe roads for all, in hopes that my efforts will make a difference for generations.
I will I use the same type of commitment and character in finding and/or selling clients’ homes that I have shown multiple times while improving road safety and serving my business clients. My commitment to road safety, the community, and raising a family in the toughest circumstance as a parent it should speak for itself. By always putting clients first with respect and truth; I will never steer you in the wrong direction.
