Greetings and thank you for taking the time to get to know me a little better.
I started my career in the Union High Rise Construction and the Residential Drywall industry. I was part of a negotiating team that helped secure wages, pension, and healthcare. My experience with Local #300 Painters Union, for almost 18 years, has given me a unique view when I’m touring homes. I am able to point out things that most wouldn’t because I look at homes with a more trained eye. When working with homeowners, I can help them navigate some of the more challenging aspects of getting your home ready for the market with my construction background. Before I made the plunge into being a real estate broker, I had been refurbishing homes, then a construction accident changed all that. I decided to sell real estate instead of refurbishing it.
Prior to Covid 19, for approximately 7 years, I have also been an educator and worked with Home Buyers Classes for the Washington State Housing Finance Commission. The classes are to help inform future homebuyers understand the process of buying a home along with breaking down a contract and to explain the various down payment and other assistance with home ownership.
I have been a licensed broker since 2000. With over 20 years in the real estate industry, I know the value of negotiating and communications whether it be on the selling or buying side of a real estate transaction. I understand the hurtles that home buyers need to tackle to be able to move forward in being a homeowner, along with what sellers need to do to prepare their investment to maximize their value.
As we move into a new emerging home market in 2024, local market knowledge and the art of negotiations need to be at the top of the list when choosing a real estate broker to represent you. Over the decades of being in the real estate industry I have seen and experienced numerous types of markets. I have built my team of home inspectors, lenders, contractors, and escrow teams so the process has a better chance to be smooth and seamless. I look forward to working with you on the journey that you are about to undertake.
