During my 30+ years of career relocations, I have had the fortune of having “good” real estate agents – BUT - recently, my wife and I had the BEST experience with Shawn Murphy and Dave Slack, founding brokers at Barrington Compass Real Estate.

So, what made this sale (our home), the purchase (our new home) and our intermittent relocation the BEST experience with Shawn and Dave at Compass?

It started with a winning combination between the two of them. They have great chemistry – which translated into a comfort level for us. They were excellent with the initial analysis, detailed guidance to make our property even more attractive to potential buyers and a marketing plan that we had never experienced in all of our previous transactions. We were told by other agents that the market price of our home was in a very tough market. Many suggested a much lower price but Shawn and Dave provided the template of how-to get what we wanted and we successfully consummated the sale this past October. They were constantly in contact with us, provided feedback and followed up with each showing agent/broker.

With their tireless efforts they also represented us in the purchase of our new home. Once again, they set a standard of excellence, we had not previously experienced.

Since we have sold and purchased, they were our professional real estate representatives, now they are dear friends who we will enjoy for life. We endorse them and willing to provide any additional information needed.
