I tried representing myself as the plaintiff “pro se” in a discrimination case that I had originally filed in small claims court. The defendant’s attorney turned around and had the case taken out of small claims and thrown in federal court. She sneakily tried to have my case thrown out but miraculously I was able to stop that from happening. Benjamin Picker had read about my case and called me up to offer me his services to represent me in the matter. The best decision I made was hiring him. He was so professional and trustworthy and he cared about what happened to me. His communication skills were superb. He always returns my calls. As he predicted, I made out better financially by hiring him than I would have by representing myself. And thanks to him, I was awarded more that what I was originally seeking when I filed this case in small claims. Mr. Picker is an asset to his firm and I would definitely use his services again and recommend him to anyone that I know who needs great representation.
