About Shawn

Hi, I’m Shawn Watson, co-founder of The Watson & Switzer Group at RE/MAX Northwest.

For more than 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of helping individuals and families navigate some of life’s biggest transitions. Whether buying a first home, selling a longtime residence, relocating, downsizing, or investing, my goal is simple: provide trusted guidance, strong advocacy, and an experience that feels personal, seamless, and rewarding.

My business is built almost entirely through referrals from past clients, friends, family, and professional partners. More than 90% of my business comes from trusted relationships and personal recommendations. That’s a responsibility I never take lightly, and it’s why I focus on delivering exceptional service, honest advice, and results that earn trust long after the transaction is complete.

In 2026, I was honored to be recognized by RealTrends as one of the Top 1.5% of real estate professionals nationwide and among the top-ranked agents in Oregon. While I’m grateful for the recognition, I’m most proud of the relationships and trust that made it possible.

Before entering real estate, I served in the United States Coast Guard and worked as a K9 officer with the New Mexico State Police. I later served as a city councilor and planning commissioner, experiences that strengthened my commitment to service, leadership, and community.

Today, I proudly serve clients throughout the Portland–Vancouver metro area, the Willamette Valley, and Southwest Washington. Together with my partner, Daniel Switzer, Creative Director of The Watson & Switzer Group, we combine strategic marketing, creative storytelling, and a relationship-first approach to help our clients achieve their goals.
