Sheila O'Halloran-Bower was born and raised in Wilmette. Although she attended St. Francis Xavier and Regina Dominican, her three children attended the District 39 schools in Wilmette and New Trier High School. Youth and high school travel hockey, softball, baseball, and basketball familiarized Sheila with the surrounding suburbs as well as the New Trier District. As an avid paddler and swimmer at Wilmette Beach, she can share her tips on lakefront recreation along with local walk/bike paths. She is a community-minded person who has volunteered in Wilmette with the village, park district, schools, and St. Joseph/St. Francis Xavier parishes.
