Born in New Orleans, Louisiana and raised in Waco, Texas, Shelley has lived in the Birmingham area for 48 years. She attended the University of Southern Mississippi where she earned a degree in Special Needs, Psychology and was a member of Chi Omega sorority. Shelley has been married to Jerry Barbour Clark for 30 years.
Active in the community, Shelley founded Magic Moments Board in 1984, based at Children’s Hospital, which grants “magic moments” to Alabama children who have a chronic life-threatening disease or who have experienced a life-altering event.She remains active on the board.
She has been involved with the Junior League of Birmingham, a past board member of the Ronald McDonald House, on the Lockerbie Board and the Children’s Harbor Board, Service Guild Board, and Ballet Guild Board. Shelley is a member of St. Luke’s Church and an active participant in the Cursillo Movement.
She is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Birmingham Association of Realtors, and is a life member of the Club of Excellence. She also holds the distinction of being Relocation Certified, an Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), and a recipient of the Vulcan Award.
Shelley has leveraged her 40 years of real estate experience to help her clients with properties in Mountain Brook, Homewood, Vestavia, Inverness, Greystone, Pelham and several other metro Birmingham locations.
