For nearly 20 years, Houston real estate expert Shelley Filla has delivered exemplary service and optimal outcomes for her clients. She's well-known for her outstanding communication and accomplished marketing, pricing and negotiating talents. Above all, Shelley strives to remove the stress from the buying and selling process with her personal attention and thorough, hands-on approach. While some people may only go through a home search or sale two or three times in their lives, she does it several times a month. Shelley has the expertise and know-how to make the journey seamless and successful, and by following the Golden Rule, she offers the empathy and conscientiousness that makes each client feel understood and respected. She prizes her reputation in the industry and operates with absolute clarity, integrity and professionalism.
Before real estate, Shelley honed her business acumen in marketing, public relations and business development roles at leading medical, legal and financial services companies. She credits that experience with forming her ability to exceed the expectations of all clients, from first-time buyers to those looking to upgrade or downsize, to discerning C-suite executives and high net worth individuals.
Today, Shelley is proud to work with clients throughout Greater Houston, specializing in sellers in the Spring Branch, Memorial, Memorial Villages, Memorial West and Energy Corridor areas. Her many real estate designations nod to her dedication to her craft and desire to serve clients faithfully. Shelley is a Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES), Resort and Second-Home Property Specialist (RSPS), Certified Home Marketing Specialist (CHMS) and a Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE).
Originally from Louisiana, Shelley earned a BBA from the University of Houston and has lived in the area for more than 35 years. She's a longtime resident of West Memorial's Nottingham Forest VIII, where she loves the close-knit community and the proximity to the Terry Hershey Park Trail System and the Energy Corridor. In her free time, Shelley and her husband love to travel, explore local restaurants, go hiking and biking, and visit their getaway home near Matagorda Bay with their two beloved rescue pups.
