I am distrustful of anyone trying to sell me anything, so having a personal connection to Shelly, that I work with and am friends with her husband Robert, was important in being able to navigate a process that I was so unfamiliar with as first time home buyer. Shelly is very open, honest, earnest, and non-judgemental, which helped me trust her right away. I am a very quirky client from LA and Chicago. I waited 2 years after living in Nashville to buy a house, familiarizing myself with the market before taking the plunge. To begin my search, having an agent that Itrust and was who was so patient with me was critical, but when we got deep into the process, her experience became very apparent--I found Shelly to be very savvy, surprisingly cut throat, and a very competent negotiator. I would highly recommend anyone searching for a realtor in the Nashville area to use Shelly --my first time home buying experience was as painless and without stress as possible, and now I'm living in my dream home.

Shelly Hudson is an agent extraordinaire! I am a first-time homebuyer trying to navigate the insanity that is the Nashville market. I was nervous and unsure how everything worked, but Shelly was extremely knowledgeable and patient as she walked me through the process. The market is, quite honestly, a mess. "Here today, gone TODAY!" But Shelly kept me focused even when I wanted to give up. Its true that we put in 5 bids, only to lose out in a bidding war on multiple occasions. But she told me the right one would come along and I'd know it. WELL, IT DID! I absolutely fell in love with a house that I KNEW we would never win on the bid. But Shelly pushed and persisted and I am happy to say that I've closed on the Nashville home I was supposed to have! Shelly Hudson is the agent you need in your corner to keep you in budget and to help you click off all the realistic boxes for said budget.

With any homebuying process, you need to have REALISTIC expectations. An agent isn't a miracle worker. Still, Shelly will give you a fair assessment of what you can get with the budget you present her. For that, I am very grateful and would recommended her as a listing or buying agent for first-timers to experienced relocators. Give her a call.

Shelly Hudson was the best choice for a realtor. I felt safe in her hands through the whole process. She has great negotiation skills! She worked for the best benefit for me when i bought a home. She is very knowledgeable and thorough. She even walked through the whole home inspection with me to make sure that all the important repairs were made.
