As a local lender, I have had the pleasure of working with Shelly on many transactions, and I can honestly say that she is absolutely one of the top 1% of realtors in Savannah. Comforting͏ and Supportive
Shelly͏ has shown that she is highly knowledgeble and well versed in her trade. I have never once felt pressured nor neglected as a homeowner and buyer. When a question, concern, or situation popped up, Shelly was always just a phone call away with quick response. Having Shelly navigate through the nuiances of the deal was a hands off relief knowing we are getting the best out of both selling and buying our homes. Literally the BEST
Shelly helped us find our new home while we were halfway across the country and unable to visit properties in person. She knows the market extremely well and made sure we found the perfect property.
Her video tours were thorough and fun, and the facts and insight that she provided helped us find the right home. She is very responsive, she is never pushy, and she made the search fun.
I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Shelly was consistently helpful and knowledgeable throughout my time working with her. I purchased a home with her from out of state and needed someone who knows the area as well as local rules and regulations. She was able to give me answers to all of my questions and did it in a timely manner. Exceptional
Shelly was exceptional from start to finish. We'd contacted her from out of state (i.e., she was recommended by friends of ours who'd worked with her on their home purchase) and in spite of being in different time zones we were impressed initially with her responsiveness and guidance, helping us understand the ins and outs and possibilities open to us in Savannah. When we visited the city in person we felt extremely well prepared. Shelly's intimate knowledge of the area and the housing market was a huge asset because, given the time limited nature of our trip, she expertly focused our home search on properties that (a) likely would fit our family's needs and (b) represented a wide range of options so we could discern between criteria. We found the home we LOVED on the first day of hunting and the process moved shockingly smoothly after that. Shelly arranged everything with ease and efficiency, from the initial offer all the way through closing. She responded to minor course corrections with equipoise, transparency and good guidance. We completely trusted her and highly recommend her services. She's professional, personable, and deeply knowledgeable of the housing market. She intuitively understood our needs -- even before we did -- and helped us match them with the best possible housing options. She also has a wide network of colleagues, and provided a pool of resources to guide us through home inspection and other aspects of the purchase and move (i.e., contractors, cleaning services, etc.).

Shelly has been helping me and my family with our housing opportunities for years. My wife and I had a real hard time finding what we wanted when we decide to move to Savannah from the Midwest. After we met with her the first time she made us feel so comfortable. Shelly was so unbelievably knowledgeable and she addressed all our concerns that we hid with the utmost of detail. We were needless to say very happy with all the help to find our first and second house in this Amazing city. Our daughter is getting married and we are planning on getting her and her fiance a house for their wedding gift and Shelly as the first person I called !

She conducted the best video tours and helped answer all of our questions. She helped us negotiate the best offer, so that our offer was accepted over all the other offers. Shelly was so AMAZING to work with on our home purchase! We recently purchased a second home in Savannah, GA and handled most of the purchase remotely from Atlanta. Shelly was available every step of the way. Only one of us got to physically see the property and Shelly took the extra step to do a video walk through of the property so we felt comfortable with the purchase decision. Everything was handled very efficiently and Shelly communicated all details effectively throughout the purchase process all the way to helping us retrieve the keys on closing date when the seller didn't bring them to closing LOL. She was always there for us! We'd highly recommend anyone looking for a new home to let Shelly assist with the search and purchase process.

In the middle of Covid we decided to move cross-country from the Sedona, Arizona high desert to the coastal tropics of Savannah, Georgia, and picked Shelly LaMonica as our property researcher and broker. With travel more risky than Russian Roulette, we had to place enormous trust in Shelly. And we are discriminating/ picky, judicial/ chimerical, pleasant/ difficult clients!!!
Shelly helped us define our wants and needs into a perfect location in Savannah, the type of home and grounds right for us, and a fitting financial range to make all this work. She mastered our preferences as we studied properties together, then travelled around Savannah making videos for us of our favored choices. We travelled to Savannah twice for short stays during the search. Shelly dedicated herself to taking us around, often two or three visits to places we eventually rejected.
When we chose our home, Shelly handled the negotiations very well and guided us through the various stages skillfully from first and second bids, through the inspection and an adjusted offer. She got us the price we wanted from the beginning. Everything went smoothly and we closed on the exact date we requested. Our move into our new home occurred exactly on schedule. When we moved in we found Shelly had written us a lovely note and gifted us with sweets and treats.
Shelly was knowledgeable and skillful as our broker; excellent at learning our aesthetics and peculiar preferences, as well as managing our anxieties; a formidable deal maker, and a very personal, dedicated, hard-working researcher. We ended by regarding her as a friend. PS: We are thrilled with our new home and only concerned by how happy we feel.

Shelly helped us find our retirement home long distance! She was dedicated even though we were not planning to retire for a year, she would keep showing us homes... finally, when we were ready, she would send us video tours in detail of homes we may be interested in... she would describe the pluses & minuses... we appreciated that!!!! Then “our home” popped up... went down to see in person... loved it... and went back north... closed the deal long distance... we are now in Savannah 2 months & almost settled in.... Thanks Shelly!!!!
