Presently, a real estate investor and broker serving as broker-in-charge of firm Rainbow Choice Realty located in Raleigh, NC. With over 11 years of experience in real estate, she began investing in real estate by purchasing her first property on the Durham court house steps. Next she acquired a real estate license and began working with Fonville Morisey Realty in Durham before starting her own brokerage firm. Fonville Morisey provided a solid foundation in launching her career in real estate.
With her professional career expanding over almost three decades, she brings valuable acquired skill sets to her present endeavors.
Starting her own brokerage was not surprising, given her proven entrepreneurial spirit and experience. Establishing a seafood restaurant with a friend possessing extraordinary culinary skills, called Charleston Seafood Station located in Raleigh. The entrepreneurial spirit arose again when she created a non-profit, SisterFriends working with elementary aged girls building their self-esteem. She established a summer day camp and Saturday program called “In Search of Self”.
She began her professional career as a financial analyst and before leaving corporate America was a senior financial analyst. Again working with numbers, she was a middle school math teacher at a local charter school. Working the numbers for her clients fits right in.
