About Sherry

I grew up surrounded by the Real Estate business. My mother was a broker and trainer for 45 yrs. I started working as a receptionist/bookkeeper in my parent’s Real Estate office as a teenager.
I completed courses in Real Estate Principles and Practices, and Real Estate Law, at Akron University, Real Estate Finance, at Southern Ohio College, and Real Estate Appraisal at Druid School of Real Estate. I was licensed in 1978, as a real estate sales person in the state of Ohio, and worked at Dale Fortney Realty, Rootstown, Ohio. I was a million dollar producing, member of Portage County Board of Realtor’s, worked for Boebinger Realtor’s in Kent, Ohio.

I relocated to Florida and worked as office manager/secretary in the sales office for, The Dunes Condominiums, on Hutchinson Island, Florida.
I attended, Gold Coast School of Real Estate of Florida, Bert Rodger’s School of Real Estate of Florida and Edgewater School of Real Estate /Broker Management.
I was licensed in 1986 as a real estate sales person in Florida, and was a top producing, million dollar club member, of the Martin County Board of Realtors. As the Sales Manager of Edgewater Gallery of Homes, I set up the new sales office, trained, and recruited sales staff.
I received my Florida Broker’s License in 1988
I opened a real estate office as a Broker with partner Bob Howard Realty. We had offices in Stuart and Jupiter Florida. I hired, recruited and trained all sales persons and staff for these offices. I was the Broker for Tripp Corporation, and sold exclusive multi-million dollar homes for builder.
I was the sales manager for, Island Beach Realty.
As a salesperson I was a million dollar producer at, REMAX of Stuart, Florida.
I was licensed in Georgia and North Carolina 2003.
I worked for Louise McTaggart Realty, before joining RE/MAX in 2004.
I have completed Pre and Post licensing courses and have held licenses, Ohio, Florida, Georgia, & North Carolina
