About Shirley

Both parents were real estate brokers in the ‘60s, so Shirley was brought up in the real estate and remodeling environment. At 21 Shirley had her Florida real estate broker's license and was the assistant to the only VA appraiser for the Lee and Collier County area.
In the '80s Shirley served as a Director of the Fort Myers Board plus Chairperson for committees and a member of Women’s Council of Realtors serving on several committees for. Meanwhile Shirley held a Florida Mortgage Broker license for over 22 years, thus, thoroughly understands financing.
In the ‘80s, Shirley was a Director for Southwest Florida Realty and Appraisal Company plus assisted with the creation of Riverdale Estates (platting, zoning, infrastructure, etc) along with the construction of the houses with Southwest Florida Construction Corp. Her husband, Chad Lucas, is also a real estate broker and very active in the remodeling process. Real estate has been their way of life for over 45 years. ARK Realty & Investment was dedicated to Shirley's mom as it is her mother’s initials that creates the word ARK. After 46 years working real estate they are still loving it. Shirley is truly a full knowledge Realtor from title work, financing, construction, true property evaluation, to helping clients buy and sell real estate.
