As the Managing Principal and Team Leader, Shuk is responsible for the development and execution of business strategies, marketing, and excellent customer service. Shuk has been servicing home buyers and sellers for the past 10 years.
Growing up in Seattle’s Chinatown-International District for 30 years, she attended Bailey Gatzert, Hamilton Middle School, Franklin High School, and the University of Washington where she earned her bachelor’s degree. After many years working for corporate (e.g., Cushman and Wakefield, Prudential, Keller Williams, and Microsoft), Shuk now solely focuses on her love of real estate.
“My personal philosophy and real estate practices are centered on empathy. I grew up in low-income housing and helped my family make ends meet at an early age, so I faced all types of hardships and challenges. I enrolled in a financial education program in high school which introduced me about real estate. It became a priority to share what I knew about homeownership to relatives and friends. I have a passion to help people and in real estate, a real estate agent must have the knowledge, competence, and patience to guide Clients on how they can accomplish their real estate goals with a strategic plan that is personalized for them.”
Shuk works well under pressure and a creative problem-solver as she makes it her goal to have the process be as seamless and joyous as it should be for her clients. It also helps that she loves negotiating even if it may seem like an impossibility to others. Shuk has helped her clients sell their homes for top dollar in the least amount of time and a track record to prove it. With Shuk, her homebuyers successfully purchased their homes with favorable terms, and she also negotiated several short sales for Clients with multiple lienholders from being foreclosed.
Whether your purpose is homeownership, building wealth, or getting out of debt, Shuk wants to be the one to help you!
Shuk is a former Seattle Chinese Community Girls Drill Team member and remains active volunteering in the Seattle Chinatown’s-International District community. When she and her husband are not chasing after their two sons, they enjoy watching suspenseful movies together. Shuk enjoys good dim sum and hiking with her friends, drinking coffee at Broadway Coffee or TP milk tea at TP Tea. Shuk splits time between Seattle and Phoenix and is currently getting her real estate license in Arizona.
