Silvia Alvarez has enjoyed an accomplished career as a Miami luxury real estate sales agent since 1995, and has personally invested in property in the area for nearly as long. Upon obtaining her Florida real estate license almost 25 years ago, she began advising clients on how to successfully invest and optimize value, while building a solid portfolio for herself.

Silvia specializes in high-end waterfront condominiums, and in matching discerning clients with exceptional homes in the Miami market. Her unmatched knowledge, dedication and personal service have resulted in an impressive track record of sales, and a vast, loyal network of buyers and sellers from around the world.

Prior to joining Corcoran, Silvia enjoyed tenure at two other prominent brokerage firms, Swire Properties and ONE Sotheby’s International Realty. She draws on her global reach and extensive expertise, coupled with the incomparable Corcoran name and resources, to provide the finest level of service and results to her upscale clientele. Having lived in Manhattan for five years affords her an ease of interacting with people bridging the NYC/South Florida connection as well.

Born in Havana, Cuba, Silvia was raised in Miami since age six. She has resided in Coral Gables, the Brickell area and Coconut Grove over the years, and in the South of Fifth neighborhood since 1999 where she is active in her community. Silvia has served on the board of her condominium association and on various committees. Her personal and professional lives often intertwine, as she contributes her professional insights and time to improving the area and its surroundings.

Silvia is an active member of the National Association of Realtors, Florida Association of Realtors, Miami Association of Realtors, and the Master Brokers Forum, an organization representing South Florida’s preeminent residential real estate professionals. She also holds a Real Estate License in the State of Georgia.

Fluent in English and Spanish, Silvia has traveled extensively and loves meeting new people. Her other interests include cooking, art collecting, yoga, the arts, and spending time with her adorable Jack Russell terrier pup.
