I moved to Lakewood in 1990. I moved here in my high school years after my father retired from the U.S. Army. I went to Steilacoom and Lakes High School. Then to Pierce College, then eventually transfering to the University of Washington, Tacoma where I graduated with my BA in Urban Studies.
