My husband and I were first time home buyers in the Bay Area and truly didn't know what to expect. We didn't know a lot of people with homes and so we didn't have any referrals. Finding Sonja was truly fate. From our first meeting, we knew she was the realtor we wanted to go with. She helped us see beyond just how 'nice' a house looked and really helped us see things that we wouldn't otherwise know. She cares about her clients and she truly knows what's best for you (more than you know yourself, lol). She was patient with us and went above and beyond to help make the entire process smooth. Even when we were outside of the country, Sonja went to homes for us and would Facetime us. I will forever be grateful to her and look forward to buying more properties with her. If you are looking to buy a home in the Bay Are (especially as a first time home buyer), you definitely want to go with Sonja! Sonja helped us buy our first home in Oakland this August 2021. After 4 months of biding Sonja helped us win a successful bid and move into a house within our budget. The housing market in the Bay Area and in California is super competitive. You will definitely not regret having her on your team.

Finding the right house in the Bay Area is never easy, but I’m convinced that without Sonja, it would have been impossible.

I was referred to Sonja by my mother after some incompatibility with other agents. Right off the bat, there was a positive change in my viewings; they became less about the “vibe” of the home and more about the structural quality, longevity, and investment. We would observe the workmanship and often crawl under homes together. Often times, she would be the one that would tell me to hold off on putting in an offer. She never pressured me and made me feel very confident in all my offers.

It is not easy to be an informed buyer in an ultra-competitive market, but Sonja encouraged me to view things objectively and without emotion, and most importantly to slow down (something I needed to hear). After some time searching I found a home that is both within my budget and has everything I asked for, with very little compromise. I know that she cares greatly about her clients and friends, and I know I’ll be both for life. Love you Sonja!
