Sophie went the extra mile to help us find our perfect home during a difficult year. Her market knowledge together with her active and attuned listening were essential in helping us consider all of our options. When it came time to submit an offer, we felt 100% confident we were making the right decision. During the negotiating process, Sophie’s compassion and social work skills came into play. She helped us all, including the co-broker and Sellers, slow down to determine the best way forward. Many adjectives come to mind when I consider Sophie’s skills as a real estate agent: professional, reliable, detail-oriented, savvy, and smart. To name a few. As a person, Sophie is amiable, honest, good-humored, and fun.

The home buying/selling process can be overwhelming. With Sophie by our side, we were able to navigate the madness of the market (and our emotions) with ease and ultimate success. We are incredibly satisfied with our experience working with Sophie. She’s the best!

Sophie is a delight to work with. All communications are dealt with in a swift timeline, she presents all information correctly and clearly. She is definitely available when you need her. She is prompt with all appointments. Sophie always sends timely communications about what steps are coming next, and the corresponding paperwork. She has intuitive boundaries about when to be charmingly engaging and when to leave her client to explore alone. This is a quality I admire. I will absolutely use Sophie Ragsdale the next time I need a Realator!

After showing me a couple properties in Portland and discussing my interests Sophie helped me decide whether to purchase a home in Portland or to purchase a vacation home on the Oregon coast. Purchasing a home in Portland would have benefited her, but she objectively looked at my situation and suggested that I buy a second home instead. She referred me to a realtor who worked on the coast, but was still there to answer any questions regarding the home buying process that I had. Thank you Sophie!

Sophie was a real pleasure to work with. From the moment we met her we felt she was the right fit. She has great taste, understood quickly what we are looking for, and was very easy to work with. She delivered a wide range of houses that fitted our needs, including ones that were off-market. She followed up through the entire process and was amazing during the inspection period when she arranged for several professionals to provide quotes for all of the inspection results, which helped us a lot in the negotiations. I will surely work with her again and strongly recommend her.

Sophie came to the rescue at just the right time. We were looking to sell our home after 8 years and we were on a hard deadline. Sophie transformed our home in short order, doing so thoughtfully and economically. Sophie knows the market and knew the best way for us to enter it. By the end, our house looked so nice we had to question whether we really wanted to sell it. The offers came in immediately and she negotiated us a deal that exceeded our expectations. We closed well ahead of schedule. So glad we found Sophie - would highly recommend!

We are so pleased and happy with our experience with Sophie as our agent. As first time home buyers, it was our longtime dream of owning a home. We couldn’t have picked a better agent to make that dream a reality. Sophie helped us with such ease and grace. The transaction from the beginning was so smooth, she helped us find a perfect home within two weeks and we closed within 30 days. All sight unseen! Our experience throughout the transaction was great; she was attentive, thoughtful, and had our best interest in mind. These are such rare attributes to find in a real estate agent. Sophie is a gem! When we finally got to our home and saw it for the first time, we were floored by how amazing it is. It was better in person than we had anticipated. We were so relieved to have found an agent we can fully trust to handle such a big purchase for us. We plan to purchase our second home with Sophie and can’t wait for that next journey.
