Sophie was great to work with! As first time homebuyers we appreciated the fact that she was very knowledgeable and took the time to educate us every step of the way. No matter the time of day, she would always answer my calls and responded to texts promptly. What really impressed me about Sophie is after she got us into escrow on a home, she did not stop fighting for us. She reviewed the home inspection report thoroughly and got the seller to credit us much more than we expected. When concerns came up with our initial broker, she called the broker to try to sort it out. We eventually went with another broker and Sophie dealt with the change of course seamlessly. We decided to put our house on the market a couple months ago and didn't know where to start. We asked for recommendations from friends and immediately had a few tell us about Sophie. Marrying my wife is the best decision I have made. Hiring Sophie to sell our house was a close second.

From the very beginning she was very kind and patient with these first-time home sellers. She explained the whole process, and with our permission came up with a great plan. She has a keen eye for staging and helped us get the house ready, even hiring professional photographers to take pictures.

To make a long story short, we ended up getting 15+ offers on the house, and from there she tirelessly negotiated with multiple buyers to get us far more than we expected for the house. We knew buying a house in general would be a process especially during the pandemic, but Sophie made it the best experience we could have asked for as first time home buyers.

We were first connected with Sophie through Zillow by chance. We wanted to tour our first house so we requested an appointment through Zillow and she was assigned to us. It was fate! We knew the moment we met her that she would be the one. She explained to us the hardships of trying to buy a house right now. She let us know that she wouldn’t lie to us and tell us how it is. But, the one thing she promised was that she would get us our perfect house!

Every house we wanted to see, Sophie did an amazing job getting an appointment to see them on the days and times we were free. She got down the style we wanted, our budget, and helped us find a house that was 100% us. Even when we were discouraged, she reminded us that “the one” was coming. After a couple of weeks of touring numerous houses, the last one we saw was it. It had everything we had told her we wanted including being within our budget and she knew it was us before we walked in the house!

With being first time home buyers, the bidding process was something new for us. Sophie made it so incredibly simple. She had referred us to a loan officer who helped us get a loan quickly. She wrote up the offer letter and had us sign it easily to bid on the house before offers were due. She followed up on the bid for us a couple of hours later and …. We got our perfect house!! How fast and simple it was for us. We were shocked!

Then came the hard part of going through all the motions of getting a house. The entire time, Sophie was on it and communicated with us everyday. She updated us on everything we needed to know and made us a timeline of when certain things were due. She was there inspecting the house whenever we couldn’t be and we trusted her to do that.

We have finally closed on our first house on June 2021 in Cordelia and have been extremely happy that we got Sophie as our agent. She is honest, reliable, knowledgeable, communicates well, and a joy to get along with! With the relationship we built with her, we know that she will always be apart of our lives. If you’re looking to buy a house, we would definitely recommend her for all your real estate needs!!

Where to I start? I met Sophie Risner a few months back and said to myself I like her, I was not ready to sell yet. I have many friends and family in the Real Estate Industry, and you never want to bump heads. So I made a distinction when the time came , and chose Sophie Risner, no conflict of interest here. Lol In putting my house on the market, I was set on a certain price, I was very set on getting what I wanted or I would not sell. No argument with Sophie, she stated, no worries.
