I am very fortunate to have had the opportunity to grow up in Washington County. I proudly graduated from Brenham High School and then attended college at Sam Houston State University where I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration majoring in Accounting. My parents instilled an appreciation for family, nature, community, and that you could achieve any goal with hard work and determination. My parents did not get a college education, but they are hardworking people and focused on providing their children with a quality family life. Their love and guidance shaped my belief structure to set goals, work hard, be fair, honest, give back to the community, and live life to the fullest. When I graduated high school, I set a goal to obtain my Bachelor's degree before turning 21 & I did just that! I commuted back and forth to the university while working part-time at Blue Bell Creameries in Brenham. After graduation, I was given the opportunity to work for a tax firm in Houston. After realizing I was meant for the small town life, I came back to Brenham and worked for a tax firm in Brenham and a construction company in Brenham doing accounting work. When my husband asked me to marry him, he wanted to move to College Station, so I obtained a job in College Station doing financial reporting in a corporate office. I loved seeing different sides of accounting, but it was not satisfying my needs of what I was wanting in life. After doing some soul searching, I found my passion for real estate. The opportunity to help people find a home or move on to a new destination is a special experience and privilege that I enjoy. I love looking at homes and learning what each person wants and or needs in a home.
