She grew up in suburban SW Portland enjoying the outdoors and exploring her neighborhood on foot and on bike. Many of her childhood weekends were also spent at her Yia Yia’s (grandma in Greek) home, a 1926 bungalow in the Laurelhurst neighborhood. This, she feels, was a great balance. She learned to enjoy both the suburban and urban neighborhoods. Looking back, she feels it was a perfect way to grow up. She graduated from the University of Oregon, remained in Eugene and then began a six-year career in real estate mortgage lending. While she enjoyed that, she wanted to expand her horizons. With a move back to Portland in the fall of 1999, she left her career in mortgage lending and started working for a few small start-up companies where she learned many essential skills required to run a small business. Although what those companies taught her was invaluable, she was left longing for a more fulfilling career, so she decided to take a leap of faith and re-start her work life with something she loves. In early 2004, she became a licensed Realtor in both Oregon and Washington and in December of 2016 she happily joined Dwell Realty. When she became a Realtor, she never imagined it would have turned into such a rewarding career. She has truly found what she loves to do. When she moved back to Portland, she wanted to live in an urban neighborhood, so she purchased a small 1926 bungalow in North Portland which was in need of major remodeling. Her friends and family asked her what in the world was she thinking when she chose this fixer. She said “Don’t worry. I have a plan.” With hard work, even more patience, a vision, and an open pocketbook, she has spent the last 17 years making this little “fixer” her home. What her experience and love of real estate could mean to you, as either a buyer or a seller, is that she will be able to walk you through every step of the transaction process. She takes pride in providing her clients with the best possible service as well as attention to detail. She is proud to say that she earns her clients’ respect by working diligently for them and building a relationship based on trust and hard work. Being a native Portlander gives her the knowledge and unique insight of the city and the surrounding areas that will help you find just the right home as a buyer or get the right price for your home as a seller.
