About Stephen

Growing up on at the doorstep of the Massachusetts North Shore in Winthrop by the Sea, Stephen developed a deep, genuine appreciation for fine craftsmanship in waterfront settings. From quaint, seaside cottages in Winthrop, to the grand estates on the cliffs of Marblehead and Manchester by the Sea, Stephen understands what it means to live on the water, and imparts those sentiments into working with clients who share his love for the ocean and the properties that surround it.

In 2016, Stephen partnered with Robert Paul Properties at 140 Newbury Street in Boston’s Back Bay. The sales team in Boston specifically represents both buyers and sellers in downtown neighborhoods, including the South End, North End, Seaport, and Waterfront. It is in the relationships forged at this office that Stephen is able to expose our city agents to the uniquely beautiful properties on the North Shore. In 2018, with the backing the firm’s founders, Paul Grover and Bob Kinlin, Stephen helped launch the firm’s first office north of Boston at 7 Somerset Avenue in charming Winthrop Center.

Soon after the new office’s launch, with full investment of the firm, and support from family and clients, Stephen formed the Hines Group, a residential sales team specifically formulated to offer Robert Paul’s signature waterfront marketing platform to homeowners on the North Shore. With this new enterprise, he is uniquely positioned to connect buyers in Boston with homes in Swampscott, Salem, Essex and coastal points north. With integrity, sophisticated and collaborative technologies, and the backing of Massachusetts’s top ranked waterfront residential brokerage, Stephen offers a refreshing level of energy and enthusiasm to each of his clients.

Stephen firmly believes that the waterfront communities of the North Shore are some of the most desirable in the State, and looks forward to building a prosperous, community-driven business from the Back Bay and South End to Winthrop, Beverly, Gloucester and beyond.
