Steve Anderson began his real estate career in 1982 as a property manager for Community Management Corporation. While with Community Management Corporation, Steve was responsible for the management of residential condominiums, homeowners associations and cooperatives. His portfolio consisted of over 3,000 residential units.
In 1984, Steve took his construction and management skills to Western Development/Management. He assumed a portfolio of shopping centers located in Florida, Georgia, Texas, Virginia and Maryland. These shopping centers included existing and newly developed properties. He was also responsible for the supervision of the renovation of shopping centers in Atlanta and Florida.
In 1986, Steve joined The Washington Corporation to become Vice President. While there, he was responsible for the complete organization and establishment of the Property Management and Leasing division. Upon his departure in 1990, The Washington Corporation's portfolio had increased in size by 250%.
In 1990, Steve left The Washington Corporation to become a founding Principal and Executive Vice President of Real Estate Audits and Consulting Services, Inc. (REACS, Inc.) With REACS, Steve became responsible for the oversight and development of the commercial property portfolio. Specifically, he is responsible for all brokerage activities and marketing. His broad experience in construction, management and brokerage services has proved to be an invaluable asset to REACS, Inc. as well as to our clients.
Steve is a licensed broker in Virginia and Maryland. He is also a Certified Property Manager (CPM). Steve has active membership in Northern Virginia Association of Realtors, Virginia Association of Realtors, Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce, Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce, Institute of Real Estate Management, National Association of Industrial and Office Parks and Building Owners Management Association
