Steve Doty, a lifelong resident of Jonesboro, has had real estate in his blood since childhood. His parents, Mary John and Elmer Doty were real estate pioneers founding Doty Real Estate in Jonesboro, 1970. Steve was executive vice-president of a multi-million-dollar international company before deciding to pursue his entrepreneurial dreams and open his own real estate company in October 2002. Since that day, Steve’s drive and ambition have strengthened the business his parents began so many years ago, and ERA has become the fastest-growing real estate firm in Jonesboro. Doty Properties became ERA Steve Doty Properties in February 2004 and has consistently been named one of the Top Producing ERA Firms in Arkansas. The company’s continuous growth allowed Steve to construct a 7,000 square-foot business complex in June 2004 that houses his quickly growing ERA business.
In Steve’s 1st year in real estate, he served as vice-president of the Jonesboro Board of Realtors. He was named the 2003 Rookie of the Year, received the Platinum Award of Excellence in 2003, Gold Award in 2004, Diamond in 2005, and Platinum again in 2006.
He presently serves on the ERA Arkansas Brokers Council which has also named him a Top Producing Broker of 2005. Steve is a Graduate of ERA Top Gun Academy, ERA AccelERAtion, and has earned the designations of ERA Senior Real Estate Specialist and ERA Relocation Specialist, and is a Member of the Jonesboro Chamber of Commerce. Steve believes his success derives from a strong belief in lasting first impressions and consumer confidence in a national brand that carries the strength and history of ERA.
Steve is married to Shari Doty. They have two children, Brandon and Ashlyn, and are members of Southwest Church of Christ.
