About Steve

Born and raised in Franklin County, I spent my childhood on the family farm. After graduating from Emory and Henry College and a short stint working on a ranch in Montana, I returned to Franklin County where I spent the next fifteen years in the cattle genetics business working with customers up and down the east coast. In 2019, I traded the roads of the east coast for the roads of the greater Roanoke Valley by joining the Kingery team at RE/MAX Mountain to Lake Realty.

Today, I live in Rocky Mount and still spend time on the family farm, Lazy Acres Angus. My wife, Lettitia and I have two sons, Ethan and Benjamin. I enjoy chasing kids, cows and a great view. I have had the opportunity to see many places, but nothing beats a well marbled steak over a hot fire with great view of the Roanoke Valley.
