I highly recommend Steve as your realtor whether you are buying, selling, or both! We were selling and buying, and Steve made the process as easy as possible for us. He really went above and beyond organizing all appointments for both houses and answering every question with patience and clear details. When we ran into difficulties, Steve was quick to jump in and was able to always find a resolution immediately. He’s the guy you want on your side. We will be recommending him to any friends or family buying or selling from now on.

We can not speak more highly than of Steve!

From start to finish he was a wonderful Realtor. He took into account all of the things we wanted in our home and created a search that would send us daily emails of homes that fit our criteria. Obviously buying a house isn’t easy and we changed our minds on things and switched up what we wanted time and time again. We even had a 6 month pause on house looking. Steve was in it for the long haul. He also kept his opinion 100% honest with us and made sure that we got exactly what we were looking for. When we stumbled across a home we loved, Steve said my favorite comment “This house suits you both so much!” To me that meant that he really worked to understand us and what it is that fit us. If we struggled with a decision he would weigh in for our best interest. He also found us deals and even though our home purchase has ended he is still available for all the questions we have as first time home buyers! He’s with us for life and we couldn’t ask for a better realtor and friend!

Best realtor, ever. When my sister passed away, Steve, who was her neighbor, offered his assistance in “anything at all”. He helped me get her house ready for sale by arranging for contractors to do all that was needed. Steve knows a guy (or two) for anything that needs to be done around a house. We had problems with one rogue contractor and Steve helped me through it. When we listed the house, he knew exactly the price to set…high enough to make a good profit, but not too high to scare off buyers. We had an offer the first day. He says he is Your Realtor for Life”, and that is just fine with me. I’ll be working with him again.

I met Steve in the way that I used to make most of my acquaintances, at a closing. His clients, buyers for whom I had earlier served as their real estate attorney, were now purchasing a property that Steve had helped them locate and contract for. The occasion was relaxed and friendly. These two terms tend to fit most of the closings which I have done with Steve, and (coincidently?) they also describe Steve’s character.

The ‘relaxed’ needs some qualification, however. Many times tension characterizes a closing, tension that could perhaps have been avoided had the agent been more diligent or experienced or had better informed the buyers’ expectations. Steve can relax at the closing table because his practice pretty much precludes the element of tension-producing surprises. He is capable, competent, and conscientious. I have on numerous occasions collaborated with him, well in advance of closing day, over potentially problematic irregularities.

I would also like to qualify the term ‘friendly’. I have worked with hundreds of real estate broker/agents, most of them are generally friendly people, some smaller number are genuinely friendly people, and then there exists some few or those who are friendly genuine people. Sadly, the real estate market has become a very image conscious business where many regard appearance to have greater value than character. Gladly, I tell you that Steve has not caught that fever, and that he is a stand-up man that I’m honored to have as a friend.

We met Steve Hooper through two of our sons' purchasing new homes. We used Steve to sell one of our parent's homes. Because of his caring, professionalism and being there for you no matter day, night, or weekends, we immediately called him for our downsize move from Apex to Fuquay Varina. Steve always answers your call. No matter how trivial the question, he always explains with care and concern. This move has been very difficult at our age after so many years raising our family in a wonderful town. Steve sold our home very quickly and worked very hard to find the perfect place for just us two. He went to get lengths to walk us through the process in this electronic age. He went with us to meet with lenders and make sure our questions were answered. Even after all was said and done, Steve referred us to a reputable painter, carpet company and even met with us and them at our new home. Steve even helped put a desk together! We feel Steve is a friend for life and hope you'll call him if you want someone who truly loves his job and wants to place people in their dream homes.

Steve was recommended to me via word of mouth several years ago during a phase where I was idly looking for a new place. He stuck with me over the next year or so and fielded my calls quickly and helpfully no matter how sporadic or random they were. When we finally decided to step up our house hunting Steve was there to assist in every way. He went above and beyond; from holding the ladder for a home inspector to coming out of his way to help prep a house for listing. In addition to extensive experience in local real estate he has a finely tuned list of real estate related contacts ( Cleaners, Painters, Landscapers, etc. ). At the end of the process you will have a realtor (and friend) for life.

While moving from another state is always a stressful experience Steve took wonderful care of us and guided us through the entire process. We received homes listings every morning that met our criteria and Steve was always willing to look further into any that sparked our interest. No matter how many times we emailed or texted him he was always so patient with us and soothed our nerves. Steve found us a house that we are in love with and checked all of our boxes from location to price.
I simply cannot brag enough about how well taken care of we were during our whole moving process. Steve did everything from recommending a great realtor in Pooler, Ga, who sold our home quickly, to helping us move the first load of boxes into our new home on closing day. I don't think many people can say their realtor is as wonderful as mine!

Steve was a pleasure to work with. As a first time homebuyer there is obviously some apprehension and lack of knowledge. Steve made this experience as easy as anyone could have hoped for. He let me know his honest opinions on houses as if he were in my shoes. One of his biggest assets is that he is a full time realtor that is always accommodating to your schedule. Steve Hooper was my life saver! We were moving cross country, and needed to buy, sight unseen. Steve was able to explain all of the differences in what to expect while buying in NC, help find us the perfect home in the perfect neighborhood. He was available 24/7 to answer questions and address my concerns. He was there, every step of the way, helping us with every part of the move! His amazing customer service didn’t end once we moved; any questions I have had (including where to eat!) have been quickly answered.
