Steve Jones

I moved to Gulf Shores in 1991 and worked in the hospitality industry and real estate operations management with two other firms before joining the Realty Executives Gulf Coast sales team in 2013. Prior to that I lived and worked in hotel management in communities from Miami, Florida to Scranton, Pennsylvania and most points in between. Born in Kansas City, Missouri, I moved with my family to Montgomery, Alabama in 1962 where I was raised and educated. After graduating from Auburn University in 1978, I worked in restaurant management in Auburn before moving into the hotel business in 1982.

From day one I've done all I could to involve myself in our island community from membership in the Kiwanis Club, serving on numerous boards of directors for local non profits, to serving the area as a City Councilman, now in my fourth term. My mantra has long been "service is the rent we pay for the space we take up”..
