I used Steve and Jamie for both buying and selling my house. They walked me through the process on both ends and introduced me to a group (brokers, lawyers, etc) that worked just as hard to lead me through the entire process. My advice is to listen to them, trust them, and use them to make a very stressful process quite a bit less stressful.

Selling a property from out of state was made easy and effortless. Steve handled everything including lining up several vendors for new carpet installation. In less than a week we had several great offers on the table. Steve was able to give his best recommendations about the advantages and disadvantages of each offer. We have trusted the Gray Door with both a home purchase on Lanier and a home sale in Roswell. I’ve always questioned the value of a realtor and I can be a very difficult customer. Turns out there is high value to truly professional realtors. These folks are not passive. They will work hard for you to get you the best price and the best terms. Very knowledgeable and very strategic in their approach to listing, negotiating and getting the home to closure. They didn’t get me a charcuterie board but they did get me tens of 1000s beyond my expectations. Personally I’d ask for Jamie but the entire team is excellent.

Jamie and Steve are by far the best real estate team I have ever worked with. Their marketing strategy was excellent and they spared no expense. The photos of our home were excellent and the media attention was amazing. They sold our house quickly and at the price we desired. There were some contingencies after the inspection and they recommended talented and professional contractors who got the repair work completed timely so we didn’t lose the contract. We can't speak highly enough of our experience with Steve and Jamie at the gray Door. We were first time homebuyers in Atlanta relocating from SFO, California, with very little knowledge about how to find the right place. I met with a couple of realtors before Steve, but I knew instantly after the first phone call with him, that Steve was  the one for us. He is honest and hands-on and he really helped to take the pressure off of us. He even gave me video tours of homes via Google Duo app when I was not able to physically be in Atlanta
We never felt forced to make an offer and when we finally found the "one" and ended up in a bidding war, Steve walked us through every step of the negotiations. We ended closing a week ago on May 15.
In short, he was always on our side working to make our house purchase as simple and successful as possible. The best part about working with Steve and Jamie was that they were always more focused on answering our questions, giving us good advice, and finding homes that met our needs than just closing a deal. Steve even helped us setting up utilities. We would recommend them to anyone buying or selling a house! They are the best!
