Steve Peters

Steve has always had a passion for real estate, and after a successful 25-year career in the medical device industry and real estate investing, he is excited to join the Carriage Properties team! Steve’s personal real estate projects include renovating historic homes in St. Louis, Dallas, and right here in Charleston. Throughout his career, Steve has bought, renovated, and sold numerous homes across the country in various markets. Within the last 10 years, Steve has moved into the vacation rental business with projects in South Carolina, Florida, Texas, and Tennessee. Steve is excited to be back in Charleston where his family has resided for many years, and is thrilled to work alongside his wife, Laurie Tarleton. Steve and Laurie are currently renovating a pre-Civil War home in the beautiful Ansonborough neighborhood. When not working on their home, Steve and Laurie can be found enjoying the restaurant scene and all that Downtown Charleston has to offer.
