Steve Prater

Steve Prater grew up in Fort Worth, Texas, with the true spirit of an entrepreneur. At the young age of seventeen, he owned his first business. He has been proudly self-employed ever since. From 2000-2006, he worked as a stock broker and financial advisor, refining the skills necessary to take on his current position as the president of his family’s furniture business in Granbury, a business that was established in 1981.

Steve is excited about his new venture in real estate and looks forward to the many opportunities being a REALTOR® offers. As every entrepreneur will confess, controlling your own destiny and being your own boss is paramount.

Steve’s clients benefit from his years of business acumen, coupled with years of customer relationship experience, and they’ve come to expect the highest level of quality customer service, sales results, and integrity he brings to the industry. His focus is to sharpen his craft to provide the best customer care to all his clients in all types of real estate transactions.

Steve graduated from high school in Stephenville and currently resides in Granbury. He is an active member of the Granbury Chamber of Commerce and volunteers annually with various projects through the Salvation Army and the Christmas for Children in Granbury. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf, and either watching or participating in a wide variety of sports. Besides music, he loves spending time with his wife, Debbie, his two grown sons, and seven grandkids.
