About Steve

Steve Silberer is a Broker with CENTURY 21 Purdum-Epperson, Inc. He is a native of Macomb and has been in the real estate business since the spring of 1997. He served on the Lamoine Valley Board of Realtors for twelve years and is a past President of the LVBR.

Steve's first career in Macomb from 1982 to 1992 was an electrician where he specialized in residential and commercial electrical contracting. He learned many areas of the construction field also. From 1992 to 1997 he bought and established a restaurant in Macomb, The Macomb Dining Co. Steve and his partner renovated the restaurant and turned it into a flourishing business. In 1994, they expanded the restaurant and added a 300 seat banquet hall and in 1995, opened a sports bar in the neighboring building.

Steve, and his wife Amanda, were married in 1996. She has earned her clinical doctorate degree in Audiology and in 2013 received her PHD at the University of Iowa. Amanda is a Professor at Western IL University.

In the spring of 1997, Steve received his Real Estate License and in 2000, his Brokers License. Steve has been very active in the real estate field and is a multimillion dollar producer. He holds the GRI designation and has earned many Illinois Association of Realtor awards as well as CENTURY 21 Master Awards, and Centurion Producer in 2006, 2011 - 2015, 2017-22, Centurion Honor Society, 2021 he earned the Double Centurion Producer and Quality Service Producer in 2015. In 2004 Steve received the Realtor of the Year award from the Lamoine Valley Board of Realtors, in 2011 was Top Producer in Adjusted Gross Closed Commissions and from 2012 - 2021 Steve has been either on the Top 10 or Top 5 list of Top Producers for CENTURY 21 St. Louis Regional Broker Council.

Steve and his wife, Amanda, are members of the Crossing Church of Macomb, The Macomb Country Club, MDH Golden Apple Society and the McDonough YMCA. Steve enjoys working out, play golf, cooking, traveling, and entertaining family & friends.
