Steve Robbins comes to Mad River Valley Real Estate from Framingham, Massachusetts. Prior to selling real estate Steve was in the exotic imported furniture business and a ceramic tile installation contractor. Growing up Steve and his family enjoyed the mountains and woods of the Berkshires, White and Green Mountains at every opportunity. A visit to Waitsfield during summer break after freshman year in college left a lasting impression.
Not long after graduation, Steve settled in the Mad River Valley and never really left! One of the original Mad River Glen shareholders, Steve is an avid telemark skier. Steve was a part time employee of Mad River Glen for over 20 years and a volunteer with the Moretown Planning Commission for 8 years and remains active in the Community.
He lives in Moretown with his wife Regina Trailweaver in a house he designed and help build.
He also helped design, plan and build a retirement home for his mom on the same property and enjoys hosting family gatherings. At home, Steve has the goal of creating an ever more self-sustaining homestead including installation of PV solar panels and high efficiency wood boiler for heat and hot water. Steve also enjoys expanding the vegetable and herb gardens and seasonal animal husbandry. Steve is also an accomplished home brewer and has collaborated with award winning brewer Lawson’s Finest Liquids.
