Working with Sue was like house shopping with family. Highly recommended by two of our friends, she made buying our first home a great experience. We did a lot of home-buying research prior to reaching out, but she answered all our questions and gave us a checklist to help us along the way. One of the hardest things for us was finding a large unfinished basement with walkout access in addition to the rest of our single family house hopes. After a few weeks of house hunting, she found it. Essentially perfect we were hesitant as we hoped to hold out for a slightly larger yard and one more bedroom. While she was willing to do that, she was also upfront (as always!) about what was realistically in the cards for our budget. After we found it and decided to go for it, she coached us through offers and counteroffers and we closed in 2weeks and got the seller to come down ~$15k! In addition to her honesty, expertise, and great personality, with Sue you also get her infamous Rolodex of everyone you could ever need, including: an inspector that gave us pointers in addition to the thorough report, a great mortgage lender, and cheap and efficient movers. And in case you weren't sold, seven months after we bought our awesome house, we thought we had mice in the attic. Within 11 minutes of receiving my email (did I mention she was timely?) Sue provided an alternative company that saved us a ton of money. Bought a Single Family home for approximately $375K in Woodbridge, VA. Sue is the full package. She knows everything backwards and forwards, works with you no matter how ridiculous you think your questions are, makes sure you get the home you want, and then continues to have your back whenever you need a recommendation/help with the joys of home-ownership. Bought a townhouse in Manassas, VA Sue was extremely excellent to work with. We were first time home buyers who were nervous and inexperienced. Sue immediately put us at ease and made the process as smooth as possible. When we saw the property we were most interested in, Sue knew it was the best we were going to find with our budget by a long shot and started on the offer paperwork right away, while sending us with an associate to look at other property to ease our own mind that this was the case. Sold a home and bought another one in 2016 in Aldie, VA. There are many times when a family stops and thinks, could we move, can we move, can we afford to move or can we even sell our home? Our situation, in our own opinion was more unique than most these days. We strived hard for several months to prepare our finances, credit and our current home of 13 years to take the leap to sell and buy a new home. We consulted with Sue and she came and gave us some great ideas on how to prepare our home. She offered straight forward advice on what to do and how to do it on a tight budget for us to ensure our credit and finances would stay on track for our new purchase. Once we were ready to start preparing ourselves for the new home search, Sue strongly urged us to get a prequalification for a new mortgage. This would allow us to really know and understand what we could afford and what kind of mortgage options were there for us. She recommended us to Eric. It was a late Saturday afternoon and we submitted our application. Within minutes, Eric called us back and introduced himself. We went over our different mortgage options that were specific to our situation and our needs. Eric went over many details, including what we could do to be eligible for other mortgage options as well. Once we completed our conversation, he immediately delivered our prequalification letter. We were so excited, the search was now on. His positive, informative and calming personality set us at ease in regards to our financing. Now the time came and our house was ready. We did everything and more to make it inviting to a new family. The bitter sweet part was that I personally had lived on this street for over 40 years. This was where I grew up; this is where my 9 year old was brought home for the first time. This is where I still had neighbors that were truly my family. We were ready to start our new chapter; however this was an emotional jump for us. Sue took this into consideration when working with us to make this change. She kept us excited and helped us After 2 days on the market, we had 2 offers on our home. Sue was just as excited as were and went over all the details. She allowed us to really think about what would fit our needs. We then made our decision and accepted the offer after a counter. Now the time came for us to find our new home. The clock was ticking and nothing was really hitting “home” for us. Once day, my husband came across a house. Of course, this day was Easter. We didn’t want to bother Sue; however, she always made herself available when needed. We took the chance she was free and low and behold; she made time for us. Once we saw the home, we fell in love. So now the story completes. We were under contract within 2 days of listing our house and now under contract on a new house. We have 27 days to close. Can we do it, can we still be approved, and can we meet the timelines. Sue and Eric worked diligently and put us all at ease. Our loan was clear to close in less than 3 weeks under contract and closing took place without a hitch. Eric’s team kept us informed and the processing of our loan was seamless. Marti at Potomac Title Group explained all documents and made things very clear. We never had to stop and think, oh no, what do we do. From the beginning, through the unknown and all the way to the closing, we were treated as if we were the only family selling and buying a home. This transaction was not just buying a new home; it was making our dreams come true. For that, we are extremely grateful to Sue, Eric, PTG and their staff. Thank you for all you did to get us here.

Bought a single family home in Manassas, VA After doing a lot of research on the numerous realtors in my area, I came across Sue. Being a first-time home buyer and being skeptical about the whole finding a realtor process, I began my search for Sue's dirty laundry hanging out on the internet. After going through many pages of search results with nothing but good remarks, I decided to shoot her an email around 3PM on a Saturday. Sold a Single Family home for approximately $425K in Manassas, VA. Sue Graham is a true real estate professional. Her detailed knowledge of the area guided us through the sale of our home. Her recommendations in preparation for selling were spot on. Her recommended contractors were of the highest caliber and reasonably priced to accomplish home inspections fixes. Of note are her communication skills. Between texts messages, email and phone calls, she was with us almost every day keeping us in the loop on showings and open house’s. She coordinated all contract inspections and followed up obtaining each completion report. She handled liaison with the buyer’s representative in a professional and direct manner. I should note that we were 900 miles away during this sales process. I would highly recommend Sue for your sales agent and I would have her be my sales agent for any future home sales.

In fact our experience working with Sue transformed from a client/agent relationship to a family-friend/close relative relationship right before our eyes! It doesn't get any better than this! 10/25/2016 - awholmes Bought a Townhouse home in 2016 for approximately $400K in Springfield, VA. I had never purchased a home before. Sue Graham came very highly recommended by several colleagues who used her services. She has a legendary reputation, and I quickly saw it was well-earned. She knew almost every other agent we came across, demonstrated integrity and ethical standards, and was very patient with me as I learned what I was doing. In addition to the listings she provided, within an hour or so of me sending her a listing she would contact me with details of the property and arrange a tour. Most importantly, her standard is I want you to be in love with the home. She actually talked me out of a handful of purchases she didn't think were right for me based upon my starting criteria. She also supported my decision, and didn't try to pressure me, when I canceled two contracts. I was worried I was taking too long, but she firmly said she would take as long as it took. In the end, I found a great house with her help and it met all of my starting criteria and must-haves.
